TEACHING + SPEAKING

Learning is change. Growth is an act of hope.

There is a term in mountain climbing called “Beta” that refers to information shared about how to get to the top of a climb. It can be simple pointers or a step-by-step instruction of the entire route. This plan doesn’t remove the unpredictability of forces like the weather, or your energy that day, but it can encourage a hesitant climber to take the first step. I have all the best Beta for how your organization can succeed at technology.

You can never know all the things someone might encounter on their own climb, I’m still discovering things as I go. But I can share best practices, where I see challenges, and tools that will be useful for navigation. I am invested in progress towards change: as a crucial element of social justice work and a natural part of how I am in the world.

This is why I value teaching and speaking engagements: they are opportunities to share my knowledge and inspire people to participate in rethinking how we live and work.

If you have a teaching opportunity or speaking engagement you think I would be the right fit for, please CONTACT ME.
